DIVERSITY OF TEXAS 16 x 20 Acrylic 3 Dimesional on canvas board

This Piece is on display for the Membership Show at The Plano Centre until the end of February 2012.  The theme is "What I Love About Texas"
My description that went along with this piece is ... From the High Plains to the Alamo; from the Rio Grande to the Gulf Coast, the diversity of TEXAS will keep you busy.  I first came to TEXAS 20 years ago for a training class.  For three weeks, the class learned insurance by day and Tex-Mex cuisine by night.  I had never tasted better.  It wasn’t until 2003 that I finally moved here with a native Texan and began to enjoy all the wonders of TEXAS.  I’ve been to the beaches on the Gulf Coast, to the caverns near San Antonio.  I have visited the Hill Country vicariously through the stories of a friend who goes there every year for an artist’s retreat.  Ahhhh the diversity of TEXAS, mountains, beaches, desert, cactus, caverns, guacamole and Cowboys – what more could you want.
